Premiere Incentive Now Net7

Posted on 30. Oct, 2008 by $haz in Affiliate Reviews, Premiere Incentive

Premiere Incentive now pays Net7, a huge bump up from their previous Net20 policy. Never heard of an affiliate paying Net7 to all their publishers, but this is a good thing for the new and upcoming incentive websites. Here is what it says specifically on their website.

10/22 Our payment terms have changed. All payments will now be based on a Net 7 schedule effective immediately.

They are a very good affiliate company with many incentive campaigns. Even though they have low base rates, they will happily raise your rates if you ask them.. Click here to check out their review!

I may have to check them out. I’m assuming they pay on a weekly basis right? I know some people say “NET7″ but they mean you get paid on that day in the following month.

For instance, one affiliate network told me they pay NET15 – many would think that means they pay every 2 weeks but in actuality, you get paid on the 15th of every month.

    Net7, wow, that’s new

I wonder if that’s a good move on their part, because I know transfer fees as a real pain.

That could really cut into their profits. But I guess their mindset is that by doing this they will get a lot more customers, which will balance out the transaction expenses.

It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out and even more interesting to see the competitor’s response to this.

I wouldn’t think it’ll cut into their profits. I have yet to figure out if this means they will pay on a weekly basis or if the NET7 is to stand for payments on the 7th day of the month after.

I guess only time will tell, they do seem pretty legit though. But I’ll be honest, their site COULD use a new design ;)

Net7 does not mean weekly. It means that after your first month you will be paid 7 days into the 2nd month. So for your October commissions you would be paid on November 7th.

what I meant was that if payments are made earlier, its going to have an effect on the affiliate networks.

What might happen later on is that other affiliates may follow and then in a year, everyone will have net7 payments. Which is great for us but not for them.

Its kind of what happend with blockbuster. Blockbuster introduced no late fees and they got some serious market share. But then every other company stopped late fees and that competitive advantage was gone.

What happend is that blockbuster’s short lived success wounded up hurting the entire industry.

So is it a good move? I don’t know, it could go either way. This is example is just one of many I suppose.

Yes, but you have to realize Shaz, its hard to fully understand. Simply because unless you ask them and they say 7 days into the second month, people will assume it to be weekly.

For instance, pepperjamNetwork pays on a NET15 basis but this means that they pay twice a week from their point-of-view. There is also another affiliate network that pays on a NET1 basis which is basically on a daily basis.

I guess what I am saying is that you don’t really know until you ask them how the payout comes. Does it come on that specific day in the prior month or does it come on a “every so often” basis.

But I’ll take your word for it though since you know more about the network then I do.

I agree 100% with you Gabriel.

You can look at it from a freebie site example. Freebie site A goes from 2 weeks payouts to weekly, everyone follows. Then someone goes to instant, everyone follows.

Then someone gives free greens, everyone follows.

Its had gotten so ridiculous in the incentivized industry that if you don’t pay in 6 hours after a user orders, some users may think your a scam website.

All of that brought way more fraud, and cut into the profits of incentive site owners.

Now I know for a fact the bigger guys want follow this, neither will I. In the long run its better for you, and better for us.

This just doesn’t make much sense for PI to do this. Sure, it may bring a little more revenue their way for a small amount of time, but in the end it’s going to hurt more than it heals. Just a quick way to try and beat out the competition.

I definitely agree Express Revenue. Although many of them must have one key factor that I learned over to FLR and that is patience.

For instance, you can’t request a payout from a TRAINN network and expect it to happen just like that. It takes a few days because TRAINN pays twice per week only and that’s Wednesday and Saturday.

In either case, if the person is really willing to make some money, then they should be patient and wait like everyone else. Some don’t like this concept but it reduces fraud and from my stand point, strengthens the incentive industry in its own way.
