Net__ Affiliates

Posted on 03. Nov, 2008 by $haz in Affiliate Reviews, General

I have a feeling that some of you might be confused with what Net__ really means (net30, net15, etc). With all the affiliates I have worked with, they all have the same definition to what Net__ means. Basically you will get your money __ days after the first 30 days of commissions. If that doesn’t make sense I will break it down here:

Net30 – 30 days after the end of the previous month of commissions. So you will get October commissions at the 30th of November (technically 60 days after the first of October).

Net20 – 20 days after the end of the previous month of commissions. So you will get October commissions at the 20th of November (technically 50 days after the first of October).

Net15 – 15 days after the end of the previous month of commissions. So you will get October commissions at the 15th of November (technically 45 days after the first of October).

Net7 - 7 days after the end of the previous month of commissions. So you will get October commissions at the 7th of November (technically 37 days after the first of October).

And so on…

Many of you think that Net7 means every week, but with all the affiliates that I have ever used that is not correct. Some of you may be thinking that you get paid every month from your affiliates so Net30 is actually 30 days after, but technically you are getting paid every 30 days for the previous month, not the current month. It’s just that after you consistantly generate leads you start seeing a check every month and forget that it’s actually for the previous month.

I hope this clears a few questions up, comment below if you still do not understand.

I thought net 7 was every week :(

That sucks. Well, with incentaclick I get paid twice week, they are net 15. If I get leads from october 1-15, I get paid on the 30th, If I generate leads from 15-30, I get paid the following 15th

Thats twice a week, right? Its all so damn confusing

By the way, i’m going nuk n futz with my site right now. It looks different in other browsers and I dont know how the hell to fix this, the only browser it looks normal in is firefox. I dont know who to go to about this, do you have any suggestions?

That is the misconception Shaz, I am not disagreeing with you but every network has a different meaning to “NET___” – for instance, pepperjamNetwork states they pay NET15, and they pay every 2 weeks.

Same goes for ClickBank, they state a NET15 payment but pay every 2 weeks.

And Copeac… they pay NET1 if you make enough income which is daily, NOT on the first of the previous month.

It varies from network to network, “NET___” does not mean that every network pays out on that day of the following month. Not sure where that one came from but it VARIES from network to network generally speaking.

Hey Shaz, a while back you said when you got your site re-designed the dude does FSR work. How could I get in touch with him? I am considering major re-construction with my site as its so damn buggy.

Would you recommend him? Is he easy to communicate with?

    Thanks :D

I believe that net payments do vary, a lot of sites actually pay twice a week or twice a month based on net 7, Net 15 and Net 30 payments. It really all varies with affiliates so you have to be specific to each one.

I believe he can help you fix all the problems, he’s pretty good with that kind of stuff. He is on AIM a good amount of time so you can have good communication with him. Email me or hit me up on AIM and I’ll give you his information.

As for the affiliates, generally publishers just starting out will not get same day payment and will have to wait the amount that is specified. When you bring in more revenue then you can make special deals with your affiliate. As far as I know, those are the starting payment dates for most of the publishers.
