Leo Shimizu And MommyForums

Now I don’t have much information about this, but didn’t Leo Shimizu say something about partnering up with two other forums to increase traffic and what not at Free Lunch Room? And doesn’t he claim that he’s just “helping with development” and what not? Let’s look at what he has to say, shall we?

Ok so wait, Leo Shimizu is partnering with other forums that he doesn’t own. But wait, what is this that I found?
Is MommyForums one of the new forums? From what I can tell, the owner of MommyForums is Leo Shimizu. Is Leo Shimizu really trying to diverge the attention of his Free Lunch Room members from the low traffic and so called “flood gates” once again by telling them that he is partnering up with “other forums,” when in fact they are actually his forums?
I wonder if “Amir at Free Lunch Room” (aka Leo Shimizu) is actually one of the “great new owners” of this new forum?
Man I have asked many questions in this post, haven’t I? I wouldn’t be surprised if Leo Shimizu abandons this domain to create a new one just so he isn’t suspected of anything. Vintage Leo Shimizu tactics! But hey, who knows, I could be totally wrong on this. Please do give me comment and some insight on this matter Free Lunch Room members!

Hmm. I figured any “partner” forums/sites would be his own creation, especially when he says they’re brand new haha.

I see OsiderRida06 signed up there. They used to own CaliStyle. But I’m sure they don’t own this forum because they own another forum now. FreebieSociety I think.

And yeah he defintely doesn’t own PPD, but I doubt that forum is PPD-owned either. Possibly, but I dunno if PPD would link to FLR on their forum if they won’t link to it on their homepage. Then again I don’t see Leo linking to A4F lol, unless that’s a ruse or just placeholder. Just seems odd for a new forum to be there and Leo to be saying he’s teaming with a new forum.

Hm that’s pretty interesting. If you find out that Leo Shimizu owns that forum let me know, I don’t think Project payday will be happy with him using their name without their consent.

I was wondering how a person can see who the owner is of a forum before or after signing up. I am trying to stay out of the Leo business, just watching from the sidelines, but after seeing what he is doing to FLR, I don’t want to be a part of his gathering. I was signed up on mommyforums, haven’t been there in a while, but I’m glad I know he’s involved with that too. Now I will stay away for sure.

I tried talking to Leo to see if he’ll team up with my forum. First off he said that if I teamed with him then I’d have to team with the other 2. So I said that that’s fine. Now he’s saying that he won’t team with me, because I didn’t open yet and had zero members. after my launch I now have about 9 members in the first week and yet his other 2 have 0. How messed up is that?

Mommy Forums have been around a long time, it used to be owned by a female. As far as new ownership by Leo, I don’t know, but I guess nothing would surprise me.

I would like your thought about whats going on with FLR now. There is alot of anger going on. Apparently, the TM was fixed to where its disabled, or wasnt ever completed, either way you cant use it, and they have been MIA. Glad- hasnt logged in almost a month and Admin – hes been gone for a few days himself. Is this the end of FLR? Alot of people are saying this is a way to say goodbye. Why havent they been on to fix their forum???? Also, there is an interesting email posted on a thread called TM problems where admin sent a PM to one of the members calling us LAZY! everyone in general, that we need to get up and do something so him and his staff wont have so much work to do!
