Uncovering Leo Shimizu’s Posts Part 2 – Video Interview 1/3
Posted on 24. May, 2009 by $haz in Free Lunch Room, Leo Shimizu, Leo Shimizu and Free Lunch Room
This will be a continuing segment that uncovers the truth of everything Leo Shimizu says so that members of the “freebie community” are not mistaken or fooled. Every segment and other information can be found in the Leo Shimizu/Free Lunch Room Scam page.
For the second part of this amazing segment we will be uncovering some of the truth behind Leo Shimizu’s words from the video interview he gave The Freebie Guy, Leslie (great job by the way Leslie). You can view this interview on The Freebie Guy’s Blog or just view it underneath.
I have broken down and paraphrased some of the things Leo Shimizu has said in his interview, along with my commentary on his words. You can find the paraphrase along with the seek time just in case you want to go back and check out what he said.
Around 53 seconds:
I’ve been apart of the freebie industry for 6 years now, I started as a freebie trader…
Yes it’s true, Leo Shimizu did start scamming Trainn and other freebie websites 6 years ago as a freebie trader.
Around 59 seconds:
From there I became a site owner, an affiliate network…
Prizebook was the website owned by Leo Shimizu, anyone remember the big Prizebook scam? I haven’t talked about that yet have I? That will be coming up soon. The funny part is Leo tried to lie about being the owner of Prizebook to his Free Lunch Room members and then later on claimed that he took it over (post here and here). You can see the blog post about Prizebook from Anything4Free here which is dated around June 2006. And then a couple months later around October 2006 Leo Shimizu gives Anything4free a text interview about Prizebook which can be found here. It even says, and I quote, “We have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to interview the CEO of Prizebook, Leo Shimizu, and ask him some questions we thought the community would like to know the answers to.” Keep lying to your members Leo, I’ll make sure I do my best to reveal your lies.
Leo Shimizu also claims that he owned an affiliate network a couple times in this interview, that has yet to be proven to this day. Leo, I know you’re reading this, please do tell me which affiliate network you owned because for right now that’s just another bullshit lie that you are spreading.
Around 1:10:
After being a freebie website owner and an affiliate network owner I opened up Free Lunch Room…
Oh, I didn’t know the process went from site owner, to affiliate network, and then to
forum owner. I guess every affiliate network will take the next big step and abandon their affiliate network to open up a more profitable freebie trading forum (I hope you sense my sarcasm).
Around 2:22:
Our first priority is to cater to the community… Our first business policy is that our members shouldn’t have to pay anything…
Catering to the community huh? Really Leo Shimizu? REALLY? Catering to the Community Leo Shimizu? Really? Let’s see, from what I’ve heard without paying to be “FLR Verified” (whats that like $50?) and then paying for “Stickies” (whats that $75 for a day?) traders really cant make much money on FLR. On top of that if traders have a low “TR” (trader rating) they’ll get even less trades. All they can do is go post around useless things and post “congrats” in the all the proof posts a billion times to increase their post count to look like a committed trader. Sure Leo doesn’t charge to post and trade, but without the additional costs traders won’t see a penny come their way.
Around 4:40:
“Gladiator is my other partner…”
I didn’t know lap dogs could be legitimate partners.
Around 5:05:
We’re the fasting growing forum, around 120,000 members, by the end of this year we plan
to be 250,000.
The reason Free Lunch Room is the “fastest growing” forum is because Project Payday sent all those members to them. Now that they do not support Free Lunch Room, Leo won’t hit anywhere near 250,000 members by the end of this year unless he makes fake user names and acts like they are real people (which he has done before).
Around 5:25:
It’s amazing the brand loyalty people have with FLR.
It is amazing… his cult loyalty is so amazing. Kanye West should dedicate his “Amazing” song to Leo Shimizu’s cult, which obeys every word that comes out of his mouth.
Around 6:14:
On average we get 500 trades a day
Really Leo Shimizu? 500 trades a day? Really Leo? 500? REALLY? I wonder if your members can back that up also.
Around 7:36:
At free lunch room you have the support of the whole community.
Does Leo count in this community? I mean him turning all the Free Lunch Room members against each other really shows his “support” and how he “caters” to the community right? How many times has he banned a member for speaking their mind? How many times has he deleted, edited, and locked trade threads that challenged the way he runs Free Lunch Room? Thought so.
Around 8:05
For people that are struggling [with freebie trading] I suggest they don’t give up.
Of course he suggests that, if they don’t give up he gets more money out of them because they’ll eventually try to become verified or buy one of his “Stickies” in hopes of a good return on investment, which by the way is an epic fail.

Alright so that’s the first part of the 3 part interview with Leo Shimizu. Anyone notice the nice apple macbook, iMac, and all the other expensive gadgets Leo Shimizu has in his office? I wonder if all that came from the continuing money he makes off of his “community” (or should I say cult).
On another note, doesn’t Leo look so cute and tiny (what is he like 5 feet tall)? You just want to pick him up and take him for a ride! I’m glad I can put a face to his tough online character. Can’t wait to see how Gladiator looks like, what breed of dog do you think he is?

You have no idea how much it stings… especially when they hide their true identity behind “witty” names and computer screens. I’m constantly watching my back every time I get on the internet. Never know when they might cyber attack me.
