Blackberry, iPhone, G1, Pre – Which Do You Use?

I have a weird obsession with smart phones. I always want the newest and hottest smart phones to make my life easier since I email and use the web all day.

I have had the blackberry (currently using the 8900), iPhone, and the G1 before and each had their own special advantages and disadvantages. I wish there was a way to combine the good of the phones all in one and have the perfect smart phone. Here my little review I posted on a forum about these 3 phones and what I like/dislike about them:

I had the iPhone, loved it for months then started getting sick of it. It pisses me off when people say that the iPhone is fast, its just the damn visuals that fool people into thinking its fast. Sometimes it would take me minutes to open up my texts. The way the iPhone apps come out at you after you touch them make people think its fast, when its really just a way Apple is fooling the dumbasses of America. Plus the touch screen keyboard was annoying me at times, I like real keyboards. iPhone is a great concept and amazing phone, but just not good for business.

I also had the G1, loved it. 3g was amazing, free apps was amazing, gmail was amazing. What killed is was the poor battery life. I took my phone off the charger at 10AM and it was dead by 5PM. Turning off 3g helps save battery but why would I turn off 3g when one of the the main reasons that phone is so badass is because of 3g?

Now I’m on the blackberry 8900 and I love it. Great screen resolution, full keyboard, camera, and the best of all, amazing email service. Emails come faster to my phone than they do in gmail. They just released the blackberry app store also so that’s a pretty badass add on. The only downfall is no 3g and it is not fun browsing the internet on this phone, but hopefully that will change soon.

The Palm Pre is a pretty hot phone that just came out last week or two and from what I’ve heard its pretty unique. Normally I jump the gun on every new smart phone that comes out, but this time I’m going to relax and let everyone else test it out for me. So if any of you have this phone please let me know what you think of it so far!

Apple just came out with the iPhone 3G-S which to me basically is a useless upgrade and a way for Apple to make more money off their fanboys (and fangirls). Besides the hardware, all the other stuff can basically be done with an unlocked iphone with all the nessecary apps.

Oh and don’t forget the Nokia N97, this one also looks sexiiiii!

Anyway, which one do you currently use out of these phones and why? If you use another phone don’t be hesitant to share that one ethier.
